Just heard that the newest version of Movable Type came out. While I am really excited to try it out, I think I'll be patient and just wait. Avoid all the potential problems and pitfalls, let all the other enthusiastic bloggers try it out first. See what happens to them. You never know, sure would feel bad if all my blogs just happened to disappear into thin air because of some unexpected bug raising its ugly head. Give it a week or so, and then I will go for it.
Hey Kiffin, I was a bit hesitant with upgrading (I did backup the entries as well as the db directory before upgrading) and it went extremely smooth! I can't notice a lot of differences so far, the menus are better that's obvious, but the other changes are deep inside I guess...
Upgrading went smoothly and if you backup the data before doing it, you won't have to worry about losing any of your blog entries. There're some new features added such as thumbnail creation and categorizing entries is easier too especially for me as I've moved from Blogger to Greymatter to Movable Type.
