Well after having been working at the new premises now for nearly two months, I received my company badge in the mail today. I guess that makes me a full-fledged (external) worker now even if I am merely a so-called subcontractor. Does that make me any less valuable? I think not. I hope to be able to work on new and interesting projects for awhile as this is an exciting wireless technology of which I can be a part. But no one can tell the future, especially on the bumpy road of mobile telecom. Hang in there folks. Now that I have been "badged" okay it is time to go on and on.

I am currently-soft of-not really in the market for a new PDA. The reason for the not-really is that I'm not finding exactly what I'm looking for. The new Clie that Sony has come out with would be perfect if it had wireless Internet, but it doesn't. So it's little more than a big toy to me. But I mean really, it has everything else I would want in a PDA--the keyboard (which some don't like), the webcam (very neat), the ability to read office files (which my current PDA, a handspring, cannot), and many other nifty little things.
Have you heard of http://www.tiqit.com , the tiqit? I believe I may just wait until Christmas time and see how much these cost when they come out...
